Abdominoplasty
Frequently following pregnancies or large weight loss, patients may experience loose or sagging skin of the abdomen and relaxation of the anterior abdominal muscles that they are unable to tighten through exercise. An abdominoplasty is performed through an incision in the lower abdomen. Anterior muscles are tightened and excess skin is removed. The intended results are a smoother, flatter abdomen. For more flattering results, liposuction is also performed to the flanks and upper abdomen.
